Cake Design Consultations:
American Dream Cakes has been delighting couples with beautiful, delicious wedding cakes since 2001. To ensure your cake is personalized and unique, we recommend scheduling your consultation early, as dates often close 6-12 months in advance.
Our first consultation is complimentary and includes up to 60 minutes of discussing your wishes for design, size, colors, and flavors. Our cake designer will provide a simple sketch, answer questions, and offer recommendations. It’s beneficial to have floral, color, and theme decisions made before your cake design consultation. Quotes will be provided during the consultation or emailed to you, as needed. For additional time or a second consultation, a $25.00 per hour fee will apply for each hour started.
As a custom cake shop, we bake all cakes fresh and then decorate them on the day of your event, ensuring the freshest possible product. Your cake should be beautiful AND delicious!
To book your wedding cake, we require confirmation of your venue and the confirmed time of your ceremony/reception to avoid scheduling conflicts. Delivery is available for 3-tier or larger cakes (fees apply outside Jacksonville), while smaller cakes or cupcakes must be picked up at the bakery.
Bookings operate on a first-come, first-pay basis. Wedding cakes serving 50 or more start at $300 but can range up to $30 per serving, depending on shape, detail, and design. A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure the design, with the balance due 30 days before the event.

Tasting Kits:
Explore the delightful flavors we offer with $25 tasting kits, available for pick-up Wednesday through Saturday. With each kit you receive samples of six cake flavors, including three of your choice and three selected by our head baker based on the baking schedule. Additionally, the kit includes samples of our buttercream and 5-6 different fillings (based on availability).
This fee serves as a credit towards your wedding cake purchase (with a $350 minimum order) when booked with us.
